IDS Overview

IDS technology is a joint technology development between Cine-tal and OmniTek. IDS can be found in Cine-tal products and provides image processing, signal routing, frame stores, color manipulation (3D LUTs), display calibration and test and measurement all in a network appliance configuration. Internal to IDS is a powerful image processor that generates real time data about the HD video stream. The data is used to generate waveforms, vectorscope, gamut information and status of the incoming video signal. IDS also provides for display calibration and profiling, as well as input signal color grading for pre-vsualization through a series of 2D and 3D color LUTs. All data and operations can be performed over a LAN, WAN or wireless network with any web-enabled device.

 
   

Routing
Full signal routing allows the user to route any signal source to any output or process. Input signals can be routed independently to one of two HD-SDI outputs or the DVI output. Route video inputs to color LUT input or frame buffer inputs. Route color LUT output and frame buffer outputs to video outputs or display.
